Working towards making our farms, properties, homes and public spaces economically and environmentally sustainable
Gunning District Landcare welcomes all people in the Gunning district with an interest in healthy and sustainable environments. Landcare is for all members of the community whether you are a landholder, school student or village resident.
Current Gunning District Landcare Projects include;
- Coordinated district fox baiting program
- Improving riparian habitat for the endangered Southern Pygmy Perch and Yellow-spotted Bell Frog
- Oolong Creek and Dalton community, riparian improvement project
- Providing information sessions, field days and workshops for our members
By becoming a financial member of Gunning District Landcare, you are supporting a community based organisation, and giving us a stronger voice. Other benefits include;
- You will be notified of upcoming field days, meetings, farm walks and information sessions
- You can attend Gunning District Landcare events at a discounted rate, or for free
- You will be notified of any funding opportunities and receive assistance with completing applications
